Winter Weather – what are you doing?
The winter weather has plumeted Swan River and the surrounding area into a deep freeze. This morning it read -38 degrees on the outside thermometer and
-40 degrees in the truck, with the windchill it was -46. C-O-L-D ! The buses aren’t running and I think I started the day with 6 students in my homeroom class. So what are we doing at school? “Study hall” for catch up work, extra gym time, reading, technology sessions, movies….what could be better? For those of you checking this from where you are, what are you doing with your winter weather day?

The snow day was fun i slept until eleven o’clock i got up ate then i watched movies for about two hours then i went on msn for the rest of the day. at about 11:00 i went to bed.
I did not get yearle and then i got up and 10 then when skateboarding at 1. Then i skateboarded tell 3 then i went out side for a min. Then i went and talk on the phone and then went back to sleep.
I went to school on snow days and I liked double gym.
what i liked about coming to school on the snow days is that we didnt have to do any work and we got to have double gym classes every day and got to watch two mavies and play lots of games and thats all i liked about the snow days.
On the two snow days I didn’t come to school. At the top of our driveway was a 6′ high snow drift. To make the drift worse the stupid grator came buy and plowed a big row at the top right on the other side of the snow drift about 2′ high. My grandma had to come and pick up my little brother and she wasn’t paying attention so when she was comming in our drive way she plowed right over the row of snow from the grator and straight through the drift. I was outside shoveling snow when she did this so I was laughing pretty hard. During the snow days I pushed snow with the tractor at the farm, went ski-dooing, went quading, and I had to patch the flooring in our bathroom on the second snow day so we can lay new flooring tonight. I had fun not being at school!
The first snowday I didn’t really do anything. I had to clean my room but other than just I just relaxed ast home.Then after I was dont relaxing I went and hung out with some friends. On the second snowday was my birthday. So I went over to a friends house and then after that me and a couple other friends went out to pizza place for supper.
Monday i came to school for the first 2 periods of the day. We had gym for the first 2 periods. Then i went home and finished some homework and when on msn. After that i played my nintendo wii for a bit. After supper i watched a movie. On Wednesday i was asleep until 11:00Am After i woke up i found out it was a snow day. I watched tv for most of the day. I went on the computer for 1 hour and thats what i did on my snow days.
On my snow day, I hung out with Vanessa and Claudia. It was Claudia’s Birthday, so we went out for supper at Pizza Place. Michayla, Samantha, Nikki, Brandi, Vanessa, Claudia, Julie, and I were all there. After we ate supper, we went to Nikki’s. Austin came there and then we all hung out.
On Monday I did………nothing
On Wendnesday I had to shovel the driveway and sidewalk.
I slep in i played my guitar
On my snow day, i went snowboarding which was quite cold. I went to Lee’s house and i snowboarded with Lee and Gareth. I went home and snowbaorded on a pile of snow. The rest of the time i sat on the computer or was watching T.V.
I didnt go to school on monday my bus wasnt running on tuesday and wednsday i went to school
On the first snow day i did nothing but watch tv then i went to my room and played guitar hero 3 for awhile then i went outside and started up my quad and plowed my drive way went and plowed my sister’s drive way. went home then my dad called to go to the other house and do the drive way there went to my sister drive way and did that one too.
then i picked up my little neice Emma plowed some snow with her she had fun!!!!
on the second i played guitar hero again and nothing else.
yesterday i went to my other house and moved my skidoo to rough country sports to get it checked out.
then i piled my logs there and went home.
i spent it playing on the computer in my nice warm house.
My winter cold and snow halliday
When You were werking hard I was ski-doo and also I was snowboarding. I went to my casins house and snowboardid more and went and ski-dooed to mitchells and also sleapt lots.
When u were working hard in school on monday i was sleeping, then playing video games, after that i had to holl in wood that took a long time.When I was done holling wood I sat down enjoyed a pepsi, while watching Tv and fell asleep.
Yesterday instead of coming to school I had to holl more wood in the morning but, after lunch I had all day to sit around. At 10pm i decited to do homework
