Art has the power to change how people think; this maybe the only way we can help our world.

    The Mark

The cold stone wall had a beautiful mark,
beneath the mark there was light,
    and all around was dark,
    this cannot be right.

My imagination could have got the best of me,
because it is impossible to see what I see.
Perhaps I am not imagining it,
and the mark is actually lit.

I like this picture. I think that the person who drew the picture of the “alien” had a lot of imagination. I wonder if the photographer staged this picture or if the young boy just happened to be standing there one day. I am interested in reading your posts about this picture.

It makes me think that the light is acutally coming from the UFO. it is really cool how the sun just goes up on the wall.

This picture really makes me think on what the child thinks. If he thinks its a sign of some sort, like aliens will be visiting the earth or if he just thinks its really cool. To me it means that you need to look at life in a lot of detail. You need to be able to realize things. This child was able to stop and think, but someone else probably wouldn’t even see it.
